::What is the Barelas Public Market? ::
The Barelas Public Market is a food, retail, arts, and culture business incubator located on the corner of 4th Street and Coal Avenue at the intersection of the Downtown and Barelas neighborhoods. The incubator is located in the brand-new development, Zocalo Lofts, and will stimulate economic growth and promote community development in Barelas and surrounding area by providing small, clustered, food-hall/market style, storefronts and services for small businesses.

:: Incubator Program to help local businesses thrive! ::
This incubator provides entrepreneurial training, business development, technical assistance, small business financing, and space for food, art, or culture related business start-ups. We partner with proven organizations like Nusenda Credit Union, South Valley Economic Development Center, Rail Yards Market, Street Food Institute, and Three Sisters Kitchen to create a network of service and a supportive environment for aspiring local entrepreneurs to make their start; helping new businesses thrive in the harsh environment they face during the first few, critical years of existence.
